We are very lucky to be able to collect eggs each day from our chickens , this is very much jims job,,, We also have alot of lavender bushes and an ample supply of lavendar which is drying in the conservatory,,, smells lovely.....

bee wee

Our dod is called Beatrice and is very very old , infact 16 years and she is a Labrador. She is feeling her age at the moment and is very preciuos to us ... Here she is having a cuddle this morning.... She is oftencalled Bee Wee or Beatie and in times of stress other names but she is a very gentle loving dog....

More of my daft collection of toys........

Our house is full of things ,,, the do Lally rabbits are very important , they sit in their own chair in our sitting room and are not moved,,, old 1930s rabbits with enormous ears. i saw them sticking out of an auction room box and had to have them....The PBs are my other total favs,,, my children think i am quite silly.....PB 1.. Panda Bear was resued from the NES Antiques for Everyone at enormous cost but he was worth it , he has his own knitted suit on... PB2 was again another auction purchase, infact my huband was sent to the auction with the strict instructions not to come home without him ... unfortunately someone else had sent their husband on the same misson,,, so this one cost a really large amount ....

September 18th My favourite things,,,,,,,,

I love old blankets and have a good collection of Edwardian to 1940s utility marked blankets... ofteni watch tele with our cat doris and a blanket,,,, very comfy...The quilts are Afro American quilt made in the 40s and 50s in the states with old suiting and are often called memory quilts......

Visiting Bristol Paintworks

Sunday. September 16th
Jim and I went again to Bristol today having gone on the wrong day for Paintworks art Day. Here we met great artists selling some superb work at very modest prices . We found it inspirational and fun . The space this was held in is of course where we will be holding our Vintage Fashion fair on 24th november , so one of the reasons for going was to see what the venue looked like with people and stalls in it . Fantastic , as we thought great dispay area , light and easy to access . Photos following.... Had great coffee and cake as well......
