What a busy weekend . Portobello on Sat and Anitas vintage Fair on sunday ... I was very pleased with the interest in my new purchases of beautiful ethnic clothing . so onwards to this weekend and I am standing at Matthews new and exciting fair Memory Lane at one of my favourite venues ... Chelsea Town Hall . we all think this is going to be a fun event with a diffeent slant on fairs , new and innovative..So make sure Sunday is free to come to Chelsea ........
Two weeks to Bristol Paintworks Fair ...Really looking forward to this , some excellenr dealers with great stock which will make the fair again its usual high and interesting standard ....SAT 10TH MAY... see you there. ......

- Most of my adult life has been spent dealing in one form or another with Antique textiles. Recently I have found great interest in trying to source very old pieces which are now becoming so rare. I love to source early textiles from Spitalfields and have developed a great interest in early French fabrics and the history that goes with these beautiful pieces. I currently still teach Art and Design but also run a business devoted primarily to finding these early pieces of textile both to collect and sell . My stock for sale can always be found on ebay under my name .. sallie_ead and I have a web shop within the Ruby Lane antique on line shopping arcade. This is a new venture and is listed as Lucia Collectables. I will post new finds on my blog and images of textiles which are fascinating and are part of my personal collection... The Antique Textile Bazaar is going to have listed for sale the small fragments for makers and collectors and bundles of fabrics which are perfect for projects. I will put the price which will include postage , second class, if you need ant first class postage i would have to charge a nominal fee. .
